Personally, I don’t think one should go looking for good stories in porn. But to be fair, one of the bigger selling points hentai manga has over real porn is that the former has more diversity when it comes to exploring scenarios, or actually tackling a decent story. Sure, at the core, the sex scenes are vital. It is porn, after all. But to some – like me, for instance – how the scenario is built up is just as important a factor. Fetishes are important in living a fulfilling life.

While I mostly favor original (or generic) characters in my hentai, I do realize that some don’t receive rule34′d series too well or whatnot.
